What PickleKakis is
Court booking in Singapore is scattered across a dozen systems, and finding people to play with is a different problem again. This is one place for both.
How it works
- 1. Find a court. Every public pickleball, badminton and tennis venue we know of is in the app, with prices and a link straight to whichever system that venue actually uses.
- 2. Book it there, post it here. PickleKakis does not book courts. You book on the venue's own site — then post the slot here so other people can fill the empty spots.
- 3. Or propose it. Not sure enough people will come? Post it as a proposal. Nobody pays and you don't book anything until enough people commit by your deadline.
- 4. Settle up directly. People PayNow the host. We show the amount and a reference code so the host can match it in their own banking app. PickleKakis never handles your money and cannot refund anything.
Two things that confuse people
“Level” is how good you are. You pick it yourself, 1 to 5. It's a hint for other players, not a gate — nobody is stopped from joining.
“Tier” is how much you've played. It's earned from games you've actually turned up to in that sport, and you cannot choose it. A brilliant player who just joined is still Rookie.
The names overlap in places — you can be tier Beginner and level Intermediate at the same time. Tier is on the left with a medal; level is the plain word next to it.
Paying, and what happens if you don't
Joining a paid game holds a spot for 24 hours while you PayNow the host. If the hold runs out, the spot goes back on the board automatically and you pick up a strike. Two strikes in 60 days stops you joining paid games for 30 days — free games and hosting still work.
No human decides any of that, which also means no human can overrule it. If a host takes your money and cancels, we can't get it back for you — but their record is public before you join, and repeat offenders get blocked automatically.
Who we are
Two players in Singapore who got tired of texting five WhatsApp groups to find a fourth. This is early software and it will have rough edges.
